Red-Hot Renko Cools Off New York | Steve Renko of the Minnesota Twins was one tough customer on the hill today, blanking the New York Yankees 5-0 on 7 hits.
"When he's on, he's tough to hit," said New York manager Dan Goodman after the game. "He's just a bulldog out there."
The 33-year-old Twins right-hander registered 7 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk and 7 hits.
