Tuesday, September 20th , 1910
Hal Carlson handcuffed the Boston Americans at Fenway Park today, coming away with a 2-hit, complete game shutout.

"I had everything working for me out there," the Cleveland Blues right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."

With his stuff working, Carlson had little trouble with the Americans and led the Blues to victory, 2-0. He recorded 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.

Carlson has posted a 10-15 record for the year with a 4.25 ERA. Teams are hitting .270 against him and he has rung up 170 strikeouts in 224.2 innings.
