Behind Carlson, Cleveland Blanks Boston, 2-0 | Hal Carlson handcuffed the Boston Americans at Fenway Park today, coming away with a 2-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Cleveland Blues right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Carlson had little trouble with the Americans and led the Blues to victory, 2-0. He recorded 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.
