Losing Streak Continues for Blues with 3-1 Loss to White Sox | Comiskey Park was the site of a competitive game between the Cleveland Blues and Chicago White Sox.
Chicago picked up a win at Comiskey Park, bumping off the Cleveland Blues, 3-1. Pitcher Frank Miller was a major reason the White Sox emerged victorious. Miller went 8.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-2. Bud Norris collected his 1st save.
The White Sox benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the fifth. With Aaron Rowand at bat and Chicago trailing 1-0, the Cleveland miscue allowed Chicago to plate 2 and take the lead, 2-1.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Cleveland manager Joel Mejiano. "Obviously."
The Blues, now 1-13, continue their sluggish start. | | | | |
