GAME ID: 34 - FRIDAY, APRIL 8TH , 1910 - GAME LOG
  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
Cleveland Blues (1-4) 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 1 1 5 11 1
Boston Americans (4-1) 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 4 X 6 9 0
Americans Jolt Blues, 6-5, with Late Rally
The Boston Americans had to overcome a big game from Cleveland right fielder Hunter Pence to leave Fenway Park with a victory. And they did, winning 6-5. Pence went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss drops the Blues to 1-4.

Had Freddy Galvis not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Galvis hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Americans.

"We found a way to get it done," Galvis said.
