Americans Edge Past Yankees, 3-2 | The Boston Americans walked off with a big win.
Boston Americans starter John Clarkson hurled his team past the New York Yankees, 3-2. Johnny Taylor snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 2-6 on the season.
Boston won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Joe Page on the mound for New York, shortstop Freddy Galvis hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Americans fans to their feet.
