Streaking Tigers Win Another One, 8-2 | Tigers left fielder Randy Johnson put his stamp on his team's 8-2 win over the Chicago White Sox. Johnson went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Detroit in the contest. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Tigers.
With Detroit leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Johnson hit a knuckle curve from Frank Miller for a solo home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 2-0.
