Blues Win, 4-0, at Minnesota | The timely hitting of Amos Otis helped the Cleveland Blues down the Minnesota Twins, 4-0. Otis went 1-1 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Blues. Andy Porter got the win, improving to 5-4. He held the Twins to no runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 3. The Blues saw their record improve to 46-58.
With Cleveland leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Otis hit a cutter from John Lackey for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Blues ahead, 3-0.
