Redlegs Shut Out Giants, 5-0 | The Cincinnati Redlegs beat the New York Giants, 5-0. Cincinnati pitcher and Madison, Wisconsin, native Zane Smith led the way. The Giants drop to 9-12 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1910 season.
Rap Dixon dealt the Giants a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Cincinnati leading 1-0, Dixon, who finished 4th in the NL in triples with 18 last year, hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.
