Keating Dominant in New York Win | The New York Yankees got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ray Keating, who muffled the Baltimore offense en route to a tight 3-0 Yankees win at Yankee Stadium. The loss makes Baltimore 31-33.
The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Keating. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Yankees. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Orioles, striking out 6 and scattering 5 hits over 8.2 innings. Keating is now 6-5 on the season.
"It was a good effort all around," said Keating. | | | | |
