Cincinnati Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win | Cincinnati second baseman Scott Fletcher helped his team beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 4-2. Fletcher went 2 for 4 for the Redlegs. The win belongs to Cardell Camper in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Yu Darvish took the loss for Pittsburgh. The Redlegs raised their record to 43-26.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Fletcher hit a slider from Yu Darvish for a 2-run home run. The Redlegs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Fletcher said. | | | | |
