The Blues got a big at-bat from second baseman Nap Lajoie. For the game, Lajoie went 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Cleveland a 2-0 lead.
