Cincinnati Makes It 8 Straight with 3-2 Win | In a low-scoring affair between the Cincinnati Redlegs and the Los Angeles Dodgers, pitcher Al Hollingsworth was the difference between victory and defeat. The Cincinnati left-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Redlegs win. The win belongs to Cardell Camper in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Joe Cascarella took the loss for Los Angeles. The Redlegs, now 10-5, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Glenn Crawford was the walk-off hero for Cincinnati. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Redlegs shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I believe in our guys," said Cincinnati skipper Jason Raven. "I like the energy they're playing with." | | | | |
