Terry Dominates Cardinals in 4-0 Shutout | Adonis Terry of the Los Angeles Dodgers was masterful today, pitching a 6-hit shutout, 4-0, against the St. Louis Cardinals.
By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Los Angeles manager Jon Pessano.
"It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too."
Terry had 9 strikeouts and 4 walks in the outing.
To date this year in 32 starts, Terry has crafted a 18-9 mark with a 3.02 ERA. | | | | |
