The Modesto Tritons stunned the Toronto Maple Leafs by sweeping the World Series 4-0. The Tritons dumped them 5-4 today at Oil Barons Stadium in the deciding game of the series.
This was the 2nd time Modesto has been the league champions. During the regular season the powerful Tritons chalked up a 94-46 mark and finished in first place in the Division 1. | | |
